CCA is interested and involved with working with any group or person with the intent to reduce our carbon footprint. To join our efforts click here.
Currently we are working with the Carlisle Energy Task Force (ETF) to have the town adopt the Massachusetts Stretch Code at annual town meeting on May 10, 2010.
We are also working with the Carlisle Household Recycling Committee (CHRC) to reduce the waste stream at the Carlisle Transfer Station by encouraging composting, recycling and reusing.
We are working with the Carlisle Police Department to raise awareness of the Massachusetts Anti-Idling law. Learn more here.
We are working with the Carlisle Public Schools to raise awareness about recycling, composting, anti idling and energy efficiency through education.
We are working with home owners to reduce their carbon footprint through a weatherization program called HEET.
